Ottawa Foundation Repair Specialists is a locally owned and operated business proudly serving Ottawa and the surrounding areas. Founded by Kurtis, a driven tradesman with a passion for solving complex problems from the ground up, the company was created with one goal in mind, to provide dependable, long lasting foundation repair and waterproofing solutions that homeowners can trust.

Kurtis’s path into the trades was anything but traditional. With a work ethic forged in the grit of foundations, through personal responsibility and hands on experience, he began his journey as a labourer, learning the ropes by doing the hard jobs. Manual digging, hauling debris, assisting skilled reputable contractors, and picking up the fundamentals of structural repair, drainage, and site safety. It didn’t take long before he developed a deep respect for the work and a passion for building things the right way.

Over time, Kurtis refined his craft, gaining experience in foundation crack repair, basement waterproofing, structural reinforcement, and vapor barrier systems. What started as labour turned into leadership after serving years as a leading expert and foreman, from that, Ottawa Foundation Repair Specialists was born.
